I am still in a gloomy mood.

I am still in a gloomy mood. I do not feel like doing anything at the moment. However, there is a mountain of work to do... I almost crack under the mountain.

  ※If you're ok, please "pochi".

It is really disgusting.

I am in an exhausted condition at the moment. Talking with an insurance claim adjuster is really an ordeal. They always talk fast and furious and do not let us put a word in their talk. They try to turn all situation to their advantage. It is really disgusting.
I want to go to a spa resort and soak in the hot spring all through the day...

  ※If you're ok, please "pochi".

I will never forgive "it".
2009.05.25.Mon / 23:58  / Edit /
The police found the criminal that knocked my daughter down by car and ran away. "It" was a 49-years-old man who has its own family. What a contemptible father!

My family and I have to take a lot of necessary procedures for a while. My daughter sometimes cries remembering the accident. She says, "If I will be hit by car again, I may die." I cannot find what I have to say. All I can do is hug her.
I am left feeling sad and pained thinking about the criminal. I will never forgive "it".

  ※If you're ok, please "pochi".

I will hate "it" for all time.
2009.05.22.Fri / 06:27  / Edit /
My daughter was run down by a hit-and-run driver yesterday evening. Fortunately, she escaped with a minor injury.
It was a rainy evening. The road is narrow but heavily trafficked. I have been worried if she would be involved in a traffic accident there since she was born.
I really hate the criminal. I could hit "it" by a car! (The person is not a human being for me anymore.)

I do not think that "it" will be found. However, I will hate "it" for the rest of my life.

  ※If you're ok, please "pochi".

I am thoroughly sick of it.
2009.05.21.Thu / 21:41  / Edit /
My company ordered all of its employees to wear a mask all through the day to prevent the spread of the swine flu except the time when we are at home. Therefore, I wear a disposable mask every day since the 18th of this month.

Now it is late spring in Japan. It is steadily getting hot. In addition, the air conditioner of the working room is set to around 28 degrees Centigrade to prevent global warming. It is unbearably hot to wear a mask in the room. Help me!
There is no end in sight for the flu epidemic. How long will I keep wearing this frustrating mask? I am thoroughly sick of it.

From tomorrow...
2009.05.20.Wed / 19:05  / Edit /
I'm going to take a day off from writing today's entry. (I'm fine, though.)

Recently, I take a day out of writing in English more often than before... I have to think it over.
I'll clean up my act! (From tomorrow...^^;)

  ※If you're ok, please "pochi".

2009.05.19.Tue / 23:56  / Edit /
My daughter goes to the after-school day-care center of her elementary school every day. Almost all children including my daughter leave there at 5:00pm after saying goodbye all together.
When they were about to leave today, something that was catapulted from a boy's slingshot hit on my daughter's face. Fortunately, her face did not get injured. However if it would have hit her eye for example, it would become a big deal. That was a close call!

He is a 2nd grader. He has been famous for being naughty since the days when he was a nursery school child. Teachers often warn him, but he does not listen to them. A 2nd grader who does not understand that there are some things he/she just can't do is fool, right?

My daughter was fine when I got home. I was relieved seeing that.
However, I feel unease as long as he comes to the after-school care. In fact, I want his parents to stop sending him there. It is quite difficult to say that, though.

2009.05.18.Mon / 23:30  / Edit /
The swine flu finally started spreading across especially western Japan. I think that it is only a matter of time before it will be going around Japan.
The news said that over 1000 schools including nursery schools have to close for seven days. I agree to some extent with the idea that it is one of the measures required for prevention of the pandemic spread of the disease. But, for seven days?

I cannot imagine how I could have done if it happened on me until last year. I am sure that now quite a lot of working parents are at a loss for what to do next. It is said that the swine flu is not so virulent. Seven days are too long!

Japanese people tend to overdo things. I really do not know what to say.
I really hope that those silly measures will be rethought and changed to a realistic, adaptable approach soon. (And I also hope that the swine flu will not come to Hiroshima!)
